Day 8.. the swelling has gone down quite a bit.
but I still have a chubby baby face and look like I'm 10 years old.
my real face is slowing making it's way to the surface haha
yes, that is a framed picture of my sister and I on our wall in our living room haha
the hallway has even more, it's cute
I saw her today for the first time since the surgery and she was just staring and laughing at me all day
she thinks I look hilarious, and I do.
she thought it was even funnier when I was trying to talk.
my teeth are biting into a piece of plastic, it's all wired together, half of my face is numb, i'm totally swollen, and due to all of the above, i still can't move all of the muscles in my face..
obviously I can't speak very well right now!
hahahaha
but it is pretty funny
my mom thinks I'm just adorable right now
I remind her of when I was baby so of course she's loving my chubby face and speech impediments.
haha
only 2 more days of drinking my meals
thank god!
i can't wait to eat.
even if it's still a restricted diet and i can only eat soft foods
anything is better than drinking broth soup and Ensure through a sippy cup hahaha
I did make a enjoyable snack to drink tonight though
i blended mint ice cream
a chocolate cookie
soy milk
chocolate syrup
and Reese's candy
it was delightful.
My house is pretty much spotless right now
we cleaned all day
it's about to be the Ward Hotel
with Christina and Ashley coming to stay soon
and then most likely the Mozart Season boys when they're on tour
It'll be the first time we've "partied" at my new house.

i'm excited to have friends come visit
